Dr. Richard H. Chanin is a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry.  Upon graduation, he served our country as a Captain in the US Air Force Dental Corps.  After returning to civilian life he opened his Holbrook dental practice in 1976.

Dr. Chanin is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Suffolk County Dental Association and the Academy of Sports Medicine.  He is proud to be listed in the GUIDE TO AMERICA'S TOP DENTISTS.  Dr. Chanin continues to keep up to date with the latest advances in dental research by attending continuing education courses.  This year Dr. Chanin was presented with the prestigious award for completing 500 hours of continuing education.

Dr. Chanin is happily married to his wife Elyse and has two grown sons.  He enjoys reading, sports, the theater, and traveling.
